SAMI ABU SHUMAYS SEXTET Acclaimed New York-based Arab violinist and vocalist Sami Abu Shumays will perform a range of traditional and contemporary music from Egypt, Syria and Palestine with a sextet featuring members of his ensemble Zikrayat - Zafer Tawil and Brian Prunka - as well as local players Zayd Sifri, Simon Moushabeck, and Martin Masakowski.
