The Umm Kulthum Workshop is a concert series dedicated to presenting the long songs of Umm Kulthum in their entirety, and reviving the performance practice of repeating sections, improvising, and extending them to create heightened states of tarab.

The talented Zahra AlZubaidi will perform Mohamed Abdel Wahab's masterpiece Fakkaruni in its entirety. Sami Abu Shumays will sing Ba3eed 3annak in its entirety.

We will be joined by many of the finest Arab musicians in NYC, including:
