A special performance with these amazing musicians: Layth Sidiq is an award-winning violinist, composer and educator. Born in Iraq and raised in Jordan, Layth began playing the violin at the age of four. During his career, Layth had the honor of performing all around the world as well as working with many acclaimed artists, including Simon Shaheen, Danilo Perez, Javier Limon, Jack Dejohnette, Jose Merce, Shankar Mahadevan, and Gary Burton, and premiered his original compositions at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2016. And in 2018, Layth won 2nd place in the Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition in Poland, where he got a chance to perform his original compositions on an international stage and bring attention to his cultural and musical background.

Firas Zreik is a Palestinian Kanun Player, Composer & Arranger. He has worked, recorded & performed with master musicians and artists from all over the world, including Roger Waters, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Goshal, Simon Shaheen, Bassam Saba, Amal Murkus, Fabrizio Cassol, Amir Al-Saffar, Aynur Dogan, Raghu Dixit, Marwan Khoury, Abeer Nehmeh and many more. His mother, Amal Murkus is a leading Palestinian singer of international renown. Firas is the musical director of her band, he also recorded on her latest album, in addition to writing and composing many of her recent songs. The two have toured together in Europe, USA & the Middle East and are currently working on new albums.
